something small as a collision checking a tag its holding and doing a simple action. However if i get 1 little result, im happy. I dont mind spending like a few minutes researching into it and asking the communitity, but when i start to spend hours looking into it with 0% results, i start to get very frustrated and end up rage quiting due to lack of results (yeah im a 19 year old with the mental age of 13(no offence) but its a good trait, no point in continuing something thats not fun, tackle it another day)

The problem is, is i really want to create this simple game and i have it planned on another engine (moved from unity from Engine 001 (its a very good engine but didn't fulfill some requirements)) but the lack of support available really angers me (youtube internet) i can never find the desired result. I understand if statements and all that jazz. I am a student at college and we are learning C# (lucky) but only the basics. Love it! During my last year at college we were learning VB and i was near to top of the class, loved it. Yesterday i was following a tutorial and i loved it as desired results popped right in front of me. Im also trying to get the scripting done, i do get along with it (when it goes well) and sometimes i love it and it makes me feel so good.

However i do get VERY frustrated with this engine at times, powerful as it may be, but a pain to learn.įor example, i want to start by setting up the engine for the game but setting up the world (2D Top Down View) and making sure everything in the correct place, if im uncomfortable with it (if its done correctly), it sticks in the back of my mind (still is) and i cant do much due to a specific reason which i will explain later. I have chosen Unity because amount of free unlimited content *cough*GameMaker*cough*Īnd the fact it appears to fulfill my requirements (which isnt alot) I'd love to create a RPG game simmer to Pokemon (The style, not the concept)
